As a key project for regional development, the project has faced numerous challenges since its inception. Under the care and guidance of leaders at all levels within the company, all participating personnel have risen to the occasion, bravely tackling difficulties and forging ahead with dedication and responsibility, thus composing a stirring ode to practical action and commitment.

The Shuigang Project is located in the heart of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, an area characterized by towering mountains, intricate ravines, and extensively developed karst landforms. The construction zone is riddled with unfavorable geological conditions, including high fill areas, boulder fields, and caverns.
In the early stages of the project’s pile foundation construction, constrained by both complex geological conditions and challenging regional environmental factors, although the team overcame numerous difficulties and completed the construction of more than 1,300 piles by the end of November, the progress still lagged behind the schedule by nearly two months. Faced with these challenges, the project team rose to the occasion and tackled them head-on. The project department promptly developed a special corrective action plan, increasing the number of construction workers and bolstering operational manpower. All participating personnel worked overtime, day and night, to make up for lost time. From pile drilling to concrete pouring, every single step of the process was closely coordinated and efficiently advanced, driven by an urgent sense of “time is of the essence—every minute counts.” Currently, civil engineering construction is in its final intensive phase, and installation work has also begun to steadily progress. Overall project progress is now steadily catching up, and the completion and handover of Project 430 are within reach.

Safety is the lifeline of engineering construction. On January 3, 2026, during the New Year holiday, the project site office held a safety evaluation and reward-punishment meeting. Project Manager Li Tao attended the meeting, extended heartfelt congratulations to the winners, and expressed his appreciation for the unwavering commitment of all staff to safety. He emphasized that safety management is the critical support for the project’s success, and urged all safety management personnel to closely monitor weak links in on-site operations, continuously optimize and improve control measures, and establish a solid defense for the project’s safe operation through stringent standards and practical actions.
