To thoroughly implement the important instructions from CIMC Group regarding the work of model workers and effectively leverage the pioneering, exemplary, and leading role of these model workers within the organization, on February 5, CIMC Engineering & Technology solemnly held the unveiling ceremony for the “CIMC Group Model Worker Demonstration Posts” at the company’s 2025 Annual Excellence Awards and Recognition Conference. Additionally, the company extended Spring Festival greetings to the first and second cohorts of group-level model workers.
To thoroughly implement the important instructions from CIMC Group regarding the work of model workers and effectively harness the pioneering, exemplary, and leading role of these model workers within the organization, on February 5, CIMC Engineering & Technology solemnly held the unveiling ceremony for the “CIMC Group Model Worker Demonstration Posts” at the company’s 2025 Annual Excellence Awards and Recognition Conference. Additionally, the company extended Spring Festival greetings to the first and second cohorts of group-level model workers.
At the 2025 Annual Excellence Recognition Conference, Zheng Zhijun, General Manager of the company, together with Xiao Shuheng, the second Labor Model of CIMC Group, jointly unveiled the plaque for the “Group Labor Model Demonstration Post.” General Manager Zheng personally presented Xiao Shuheng with the Group’s Spring Festival care gifts and the Labor Model Honor Trophy, and extended his heartfelt New Year greetings to him. General Manager Zheng stated: “Labor models are our company’s most precious asset. Each medal, each plaque, and each gift of care represents the Group’s highest honor and respect for those who strive hard. I hope Comrade Xiao Shuheng will cherish this honor, keep up the good work, and continue to exemplify the power of role models on our new journey.”
Comrade Cheng Fuchang, the first-ever group model worker who was unable to attend the commendation ceremony due to his steadfast commitment to the Shenran project site, was presented with the group’s Spring Festival care gifts, the model worker medal, and the plaque for the model worker demonstration post by a designated representative from the company. The company also conveyed the warm greetings of both the group and the company to him. Comrade Cheng Fuchang expressed that although he couldn’t be present in person, he still deeply felt the warmth and respect from the organization. He pledged to continue playing his role as a mentor and guide, contributing to the growth of younger employees.
This unveiling and condolence event is an important step taken by CIMC Engineering & Technology to implement the “CIMC Group Management Measures for Model Workers” and establish a sound, regular management mechanism for model workers. Taking this event as an opportunity, the company will further promote the “regular and visible recognition” of model workers’ honors. Focusing on the principles of “passing on experience, providing assistance, and mentoring,” the company will encourage model workers to engage in technical training, business exchanges, and mentorship programs, ensuring that the spirit of model workers takes root and flourishes at the grassroots level, thereby continuously injecting strong human resource momentum into the company’s high-quality development.
