The 50000 cubic meter low-temperature ethylene storage tank of Dalian Hengli project has been successfully put into use

The EPC project of Dalian Hengli Petrochemical's 50000 cubic meter low-temperature ethylene storage tank, which was constructed by YPDI, completed the unloading of the first ship of ethylene into the tank on November 7, 2019, and compressed, condensed, and refluxed the next day, marking the successful commissioning of the project and receiving high praise from users!


The project was successfully completed and accepted from the construction site handover on July 2, 2018 to September 16, 2019. Over the past month, nitrogen purging and replacement, liquid nitrogen pre cooling, ethylene replacement, and material unloading were carried out to establish a liquid level (about 3.2 meters). The BOG was compressed, condensed, and refluxed, and the gas was replaced and discharged into the ground flare, perfectly realizing the entire process of liquid-phase ethylene unloading from the dock to storage tanks. This process is fast and stable, and cannot be separated from the strong cooperation and comprehensive technical support of the YPDI project team and company leaders.


The temperature of the inner tank has dropped from room temperature to minus 104~105 ℃. The low temperature resistance, insulation performance, and overall sealing performance of the storage tank have successfully undergone practical tests, once again confirming the comprehensive quality assurance of our EPC products
