The 50000 cubic meter low-temperature ethylene full containment tank gas lift of Huayi Qinzhou project undertaken by YPDI has been successfully completed

  At 10:58 am on August 25, 2021, the low-temperature ethylene storage tank project of Guangxi Huayi Chlor Alkali Chemical Co., Ltd., which was contracted by our company (Nanjing Yangzi Petrochemical Design Engineering Co., Ltd., abbreviated as YPDI), was successfully completed with a 50000 cubic meter low-temperature ethylene concrete fully enclosed storage tank gas lift!

Zhang Weimin, Chairman of the owner Guangxi Huayi Chlor Alkali Company, Li Chenyang, General Manager and Project Manager, Ju Xiaofeng, Deputy General Manager of CIMC Anruike, Zhu Shenghua, General Manager of YPDI, and major leaders of various partners attended the gas lifting ceremony and watched the entire lifting process through video.

YPDI General Manager Zhu Shenghua presided over the topping up ceremony, introducing the project overview and construction process to the owners and partners, describing the entire process of gas topping up one by one, and answering relevant questions.

Since the commencement of the project in early March 2021, the EPC project team overcame such factors as the narrow construction site, hot and rainy, and the impact of the COVID-19, and it took more than five months to successfully complete the air jacking of the concrete all inclusive tank.

The gas jacking work officially began at 8:20 am and by 10:58 am, the dome was officially docked with the pressure ring. The dome, with a diameter of 48 meters and a weight of about 240 tons, was successfully lifted nearly 34 meters by the fan. During the air lift process, the company developed its own air lift software and used equipment such as 8 measurement points and gyroscopes at the center of the dome to strictly follow the expert approved air lift plan. The entire air lift process was smooth and orderly, successfully demonstrating the mature and stable technology of YPDI.

 The completion of the gas lift work is not only a response from the project team to the owner, but also a signal for the project team to launch the next stage of work. The completion of this work also means the comprehensive implementation of tank installation work, and is an important milestone in the transition from outer tank pouring work to inner tank installation work.

The smooth progress of the gas lift work this time is also a reflection of our company's project management ability, technical strength, and wholehearted service spirit to the owners, perfectly interpreting YPDI's business philosophy of "service first, win-win cooperation, and customer achievement".

Owners Mr. Zhang and Mr. Ju from CIMC Anruike both stated that CIMC Group and Huayi Group have close cooperation in multiple fields and are strategic partners. I hope that through the construction of this general contracting project, both parties can deepen mutual trust, expand cooperation, and consolidate friendship.
