In this golden autumn harvest season, YPDI has completed the entire contract construction of the EPC project for the low-temperature ethylene tank area concrete fully inclusive low-temperature tank body of Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Chemical Co., Ltd.'s 1.5 million tons/year ethylene project, which was accepted by the supervisor and the owner. Mechanical completion was achieved on September 16, 2019.

This project officially started construction on July 2, 2018, completed the gas lift roof on November 23 of the same year, completed the inner tank construction on July 5, 2019, and reached mechanical completion on September 16. The overall project time was 441 days (including a 30 day winter shutdown), which is 15 days ahead of the contract time. This progress is also in a leading position among similar projects in China.

In the process of project construction, we always adhere to the principle of safety first, and have never had a safety accident. At the same time, we have won the honor of exemplary organization in safety management in the HSE evaluation of the Owner's Safety and Environment Department; We strictly control the engineering quality in accordance with the requirements of the inspection and testing plan, achieving synchronization between process data and engineering entities. For low-temperature tanks, welding quality is particularly important, and our project achieved a one-time welding qualification rate of 98.32%.

  The success of the Hengli project cannot be achieved without the support and care of various departments and leaders of the company. The smooth handover of the project is a milestone achievement. In the next step, the project team will continue to assist the owner in completing system nitrogen replacement, commissioning, performance assessment, and completion acceptance according to the contract. Wishing our large tanks to be put into use soon, and writing a strong mark for YPDI in the field of low-temperature storage and transportation engineering.
