Yangtze Petrochemical's First Ultra Low Emission Combustion Exhaust Gas Device, CCCC

On March 16, 2020, the main project of the first set of storage tanks and CEB (ultra-low emission combustion) tail gas treatment device designed by our company for Yangzi Petrochemical Company was completed. The project leader of Yangzi Petrochemical Company's engineering department convened a meeting with relevant parties in the liquid loading and unloading operation area of the local unit storage and transportation plant to demonstrate that this advanced environmental protection device has the conditions for start-up and commissioning.


The device adopts patented ultra-low emission combustion technology from the United States, with the core equipment being a low-carbon incinerator imported from the United States. Other important facilities are provided by Jiangsu Aerospace Huilit Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asia Ecology. The device can recycle and treat VOCs (volatile organic compound emissions) generated during the storage and transportation of liquid petrochemical products, and meet emission standards. The emission standards comply with national and local standards, and the emissions of benzene and non methane total hydrocarbons are superior to national and industry emission standards. It is currently an advanced technology in the field of VOCs control.

The liquid loading and unloading operation area of Yangzi Petrochemical Storage and Transportation Plant is the largest liquid finished product loading and unloading operation area of the company. The daily operations in the area include tank loading and unloading operations, truck tank truck and train tank truck loading and unloading operations. There are many and large liquid hazardous chemical operation points, and the old exhaust gas recovery and treatment equipment cannot adapt to the new environmental protection requirements. The company decided to install four sets of CEB devices in the storage and transportation plant in the second half of last year. The liquid loading and unloading operation area started construction on November 1st last year, and completed the installation of equipment and the laying of instrument cables before the end of the year. After the beginning of the year, the project progress was severely delayed due to the impact of the epidemic. In order to ensure the project is delivered before the end of March as planned, the storage and transportation plant is responsible for both epidemic prevention and control, as well as ensuring the safety, quality, and progress of resuming work. The construction personnel are strictly screened and controlled, with one person and one form checked daily.


The project was delivered half a month ahead of schedule on March 16th, winning the battle against the epidemic prevention and control and the battle against resumption of work. Due to the use of US patented technology in this project, foreign experts can come to calibrate the operating parameters of the device and provide guidance for debugging and driving once the global pandemic is eliminated.
