The reserve amount has been increased from 7 days to 30 days! CIMC Anruike wins bid for Shenzhen Natural Gas Reserve and Peak shaving Reservoir

Recently, our company, CIMC Anruike Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "CIMC Engineering Technology"), won the bid for the EPC general contracting project of Shenzhen Natural Gas Reserve and Peak shaving Reservoir Phase II Expansion Project (referred to as "the Project") in the form of a consortium bidding with a total contract amount of approximately RMB 1.76 billion. Among them, CIMC Engineering Technology accounts for nearly 900 million yuan.

The main construction content of this project includes two 160000 cubic meter LNG storage tanks, process facilities, public works, and auxiliary facilities. After completion, the annual LNG turnover capacity will be 2 million tons/year, and the maximum high-pressure output capacity will be 795000 cubic meters/hour.

As a key construction project in Guangdong Province and a major construction project in the city, this project has been included in multiple "14th Five Year Plan" projects such as Guangdong Energy Development and Guangdong Urban Gas Development. At the same time, this project is also the largest investment, highest technological content, and most complex construction procedure infrastructure project of Shenzhen Gas Group in recent years. After the project is completed and put into operation, the emergency reserve of urban gas in Shenzhen will be increased from the current 7 days to more than 30 days, which is conducive to ensuring the safe and stable supply of natural gas in Shenzhen as a pilot demonstration zone, and is of great significance for promoting the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of Shenzhen.

According to data from the National Development and Reform Commission, from January to March 2023, the apparent consumption of natural gas in China was 97.48 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%. Among them, in March 2023, the apparent consumption of natural gas in China was 33.89 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%. With the gradual recovery of the macro economy, the apparent consumption of natural gas is expected to continue to grow, and accelerating the construction of natural gas supply guarantee facilities is also a trend.
