This is an interdisciplinary high-tech discipline that integrates the storage, transportation, and management of oil, natural gas, and various chemicals. It mainly includes oil and gas field gathering and transportation, long-distance transportation pipelines, storage and loading/unloading, and urban transmission and distribution systems.

Storage and transportation engineering is also a field with high performance in YPDI engineering, having completed more than ten sets of tank projects and accumulated rich experience in engineering design and EPC general contracting.
