The second 150000 cubic meter low-temperature ethane tank of Jiahua Energy, constructed by YPDI, has been successfully topped up with gas

At 9:18 am on June 23, 2021, the second 150000 cubic meter (low-temperature ethane/ethylene) concrete fully enclosed storage tank of Zhejiang Jiahua Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd., constructed by Nanjing Yangzi Petrochemical Design Engineering Co., Ltd. (YPDI), achieved full success in gas lifting!

This is just 28 days after the successful lifting of the first storage tank in the project on May 25th. With the joint efforts of the YPDI project management team and all participating parties, we have once again submitted a satisfactory answer to the owner, presenting a profound and meaningful gift for the upcoming centenary of the Communist Party of China!

The entire jacking process took only 2 hours and 48 minutes, and the acceleration was smooth and the progress was smooth. Starting from December 21, 2020, the concrete pouring of the bearing platform was completed in just 6 months. Compared to the propane tank that was lifted last month, the ethane/ethylene tank this time has 3 more layers of walls, catching up with the construction period by nearly 20 days!

Unlike domestic projects of the same type that simultaneously construct several identical calibrated storage tanks, the external parameters of the tanks are often the same. YPDI, taking into account factors such as site conditions and investment analysis, has taken the owner's needs as the starting point and foothold for all work in this project, providing solutions and designing two "customized specifications" low-temperature storage tanks for the owner: the outer diameter of the low-temperature propane storage tank is 89.4 meters, the lifting height is about 32 meters, and the top weight is about 1150 tons, making it a true "chubby kid", while the outer diameter of the low-temperature ethane/ethylene storage tank is 78.5 meters, the lifting height is about 38 meters, and the top weight is about 700 tons, more like a delicate and beautiful girl. 'Non standard customization' once again reflects YPDI's service philosophy centered on achieving maximum customer value, profound design expertise, and engineering implementation capabilities.

YPDI has been involved in the design and construction of over ten low-temperature storage tanks since the successful design and construction of the first domestic low-temperature ethylene tank in 1995. The storage media include LNG, ethylene (ethane), propylene (propane), butane, liquid ammonia, and more; The form of storage tanks has also evolved from the earliest single capacity tanks and metal full capacity tanks to the safest prestressed concrete full capacity tanks; The tank capacity also includes various specifications ranging from 10000 m3 to 160000 m3. The successful upgrade of this project further consolidates YPDI's frontline position in the fields of low-temperature storage and transportation of petrochemicals and urban gas peak shaving.
