Henan Kaixiang Tianyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual production capacity of 2 × 100000 tons of PBT plant

The 100000 ton per year polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) plant designed by our company (YPDI) for Henan Yimei Group Kaixiang Tianyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. was fully mechanically completed in April 2013, successfully put into trial operation in May, and completed and accepted the entire project (including SSP plant, etc.) on August 9th.

  The PBT project is a product upgrade project of Kaixiang Chemical, which relies on the company's two main plant areas for methanol and 1,4-butanediol, as well as auxiliary facilities, to further extend the industrial chain. PBT is a downstream product of 1,4-butanediol. This project is jointly developed by the company and Yangzhou Pulite, designed by YPDI, and adopts the world's advanced PTA direct esterification and continuous polymerization process. The first phase of the PBT plant has a production capacity of 100000 tons, which is the world's first set. The project will be constructed in two phases, with an estimated investment of 475 million yuan.

The first phase of the project started in August 2012 and completed the engineering design, procurement, construction and installation work in less than a year.
