1983 Officially established as Yangzi Petrochemical Corporation Design Academy. Three years later, the institute was renamed Yangzi Petrochemical Corporation Design Institute. In 1987, it obtained Class-B Design Institute certification.

1993 Renamed Yangzi Petrochemical Design Institute and granted Class-A Design Institute accreditation by the Ministry of Construction of China.

1995 Completed the design of China's first 10,000 m³ cryogenic ethylene plant for Yangzi Petrochemical Corporation in collaboration with Linde AG (Germany), marking a milestone in domestic engineering capabilities.

1997 Awarded the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contracting Qualification Certificate by the Ministry of Construction.

2001 Restructured into Nanjing Yangzi Petrochemical Design Engineering Co., Ltd. (YPDI), an independent legal entity and technology-driven enterprise.

2004 Executed the 20,000 m³ cryogenic ethylene plant project for Sanjiang Chemical Co., Ltd. in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province.

2007 Transitioned to an employee-owned limited liability company on January 8, aligning with national guidelines for state-owned enterprise restructuring issued by eight ministries including the State Economic and Trade Commission.

2011 Formally joined CIMC Enric Holdings (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. as a subsidiary on December 21.

2016 Successfully delivered the 300,000 m³ natural gas liquefaction plant EPC project for Ningxia Changming Natural Gas Development Co., Ltd., achieving first-time commissioning success. This milestone marked YPDI's strategic shift from traditional petrochemicals to LNG engineering, establishing dual expertise in "Petrochemicals + LNG" operations.

2019 Commissioned the Shenzhen Natural Gas Storage and Peak-shaving Reservoir EPC project in August, breaking into large-scale LNG receiving terminal markets.

2022 Rebranded as CIMC Enric Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. in April to align with CIMC Enric's strategic integration of engineering consortium operations.

2024 Completed the acquisition of core assets and expert team from Beijing Zhongliansheng Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. on July 18, significantly enhancing capabilities in coal chemicals and emerging energy sectors.
